2. Madurai to Kodaikanal: The best way to reach Kodaikanal from Madurai is through Bus or Cab. There is no railway station in Kodaikanal. The nearest railway station is Kodaikanal Road (KQN) from which it takes 2 hrs and 30 min by road to reach Kodaikanal. So it is better to take a bus or cab directly from Madurai.

The best way to reach Madurai from Kodaikanal is through Bus or Cab. There is no railway station in Kodaikanal. The nearest railway station is Kodaikanal Road (KQN) for which it takes 2 hrs and 30 min by road to reach from Kodaikanal. So it is better to take a bus or cab to reach Madurai.
